What is ACWU90?
Metal Clad Armored Cable, 600V or 1000V;
RW90 Insulation, Armored, PVC Jacket, Multi-conductor, Aluminum
ACWU 90 cables are primarily intended for exposed and concealed wiring in dry or wet locations
and where exposed to the weather. For use in ventilated, non-ventilated, and ladder type cable
trays in wet and dry locations, direct earth burial, service entrance above or below ground.
Structure:
- Conductor: Three or four compact 8000 Series ACM aluminum conductors with bare aluminum bonding wire in multi-conductor cables
- Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene insulation (XLPE)
- Assemble wrap: Conductor assembly paper or PP tape wrapped
- Armored : Interlocked aluminum armor
- Overall Jacket: PVC jacket
- Conductor color:
Black, red and white for 3 conductor;
Black, red, blue and white for 4 conductor
